Seitz Travel began as Heritage Tours by Seitz Travel in 2018, founded by Cynthia and Roy Seitz of Houma, Louisiana. Inspired by her deep connection to her own Cajun, Spanish, Italian, Irish, and German ancestry, Cynthia Breaux Seitz set out to create immersive experiences that uncover the rich immigrant history of Louisiana.
Through heritage tours, she has guided travelers on a journey through time, exploring the diverse cultures that have shaped the region.

proven credentials
Cynthia has a BA in Education and a Minor in French from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Roy has a BA in Computer Science and a Minor in Math from Nicholls State University. He helps to organize and operate all of the tours, but his main passion is math making him the perfect bookkeeper for their business. Cynthia and Roy are both members of CLIA and have studied tour management at the International Tour Management Institute. She was mentored by Shanterria Early and Claude Boudreau.
